I'm going! Are any of you guys going?

I really want to get back to deviantart. I like it here. I still believe this place has the best set up for comments and stuff anywhere on the Internet. Unfortunately it seems like the least essential place to be from a professional point of view (to the point that it can actually be perceived as unprofessional) so by the time I get to deviantart after a whole day of tending to my other outlets, spending too long on short emails and doing other things which aren't actually drawing, I generally just want to get away from the screen. It's a shame because it's probably been the most essential place in actually developing as an artist and making connections with others.

So yeah, sorry deviantart.

At the very least I'm going to get my gallery back up to date.

I've been working really hard on numerous things, but recently mainly on my new book 'Everything We Miss' which Nobrow is putting out next month. Stay tuned for updates soon.

I can't remember if I actually ever mentioned this anywhere, but I'm going to be at Thought Bubble on Saturday! Will just be selling the same stuff I had at MCM unfortunately, Dull Ache and Some People, as it doesn't look like I'll have copies of Hildafolk by then. You will however be able to buy Solipsistic Pop 3 there which has a four page comic by me in it!

Firstly, thanks for all the birthday messages!

Secondly, I'm going to be at MCM expo in London this coming weekend. It will be my first comic convention and it is quite scary. So if you're going, come and say hi! I will be in the comics village bit.

I'm not going to have a huge deal of stuff with me. I will have a bunch of copies of Dull Ache #1 which is a minicomic/zine I've thrown together which I will be bigging up shortly and also some copies of a print version of 'Some People'. If I run out I guess I'll be doing drawings for people for the rest of the weekend.

The reason I don't have more is because I have been mainly focusing on a comic called Hildafolk which is being published by Nobrow Press next month which I will also be bigging up very shortly.

It's been a slow second half of the year by way of things I can actually upload but it'll all pay off shortly I hope.
