Yeah, this is sexy! I really like how there's no anthropomorphzation of the mountainous features, like no boulders where boobs would be. Because mountains are sexy enough without added female anatomy, if you ask me. Also, the drippy white snow looks like whipped cream... just great.
Great shit, buddy. Especially the geometrical nature of the triangle mountain contrasted with the sexy legs; pro handling of all the details ( little trees on the shoes ! ). retro colours, spacey background, good shading (also on the legs), fun idea ( even the title has an extra fun touch with all the m's).
by the way, did you put an extra 'blur'-effect on the whole piece to make it look more retro ? or is that just a result of the saving quality ? anyways, I like that
yeah, you can tell and that's always the best art the jpeg-handling is quite ok on dA I think. Blogger sometimes make them crappy. But I know a good friend who makes comics with a 20's feel to it and he deliberately puts a blur on the finished piece to make it look like a bad scan. And that totally works.
I actually like it on dA generally. Blogger messes it up which is why I usually just link to the file hosted on dA. I've noticed flickr is ridiculously sharp and crisp. Whereas facebook is the blurriest and most disgraceful of all.
don't know about flickr, don't have an account there (yet). but I agree with everything you said. facebook is just baaaad, but it's still very handy to show your stuff to people that forget or don't visit your blog or dA account.
You're amazing! I love the layout/composition of the page, the snowy circle and the fact the highlight of the snow is the same colour as the background... subtle stuff that works so gosh darn well and I would never think to do... Stop being too cool for school... (but don't really)
