I knnooww it's a bit early but this is an entry for my art department's christmas card contest. Don't think it really works as a card but I think it's nice and snug 'n stuff.

Began with paint/collage, with digital characters and other embellishments. I hate the word embellishments.

are those drop shadows or duped layers behind the trees and mountains?

There was actually some real shadowing, because the mountains, main triangle shapes and snow are actual collage so they were sticking up a bit. I just kind of enhanced them and added some here and there.
