After looking through your gallery, I'm pleased to announce that this piece defines a part of me! Haha, seriously though, I kept coming back to this one to just...look at it. I feel like it's the fantasy and reality parts of my childhood put together.
I think she's a girl, but I'm unsure, and I like that about this piece. So, I guess you don't have any friends who play D&D, huh? I also really like the tower--literally or metaphorically, it adds this rapunzel-esque fantasy note that makes so much sense--how could you have ever met that person when they live in such a place?
Haha, yeah it's a girl. I'm getting the feeling a few people are struggling with this. I guess she lost some girlishness in my attempt to make her more interesting.
That's not entirely true. I do have friends who are the d&d type. I just asked myself the question who would I like to meet right now at this minute. The d&d (or heroquest) is a nostalgic thing. I have fond childhood memories.
